Revitalizant for compressors and bearings

Treatment procedure for all types of compressors with XADO revitalizing compounds (except cylinder piston groups in oxygen compressors)

1. Only compressors with less than 100 % wear are subject to treatment.
2. Before treatment it is necessary to make metering of the basic performance specifications of the compressor functioning.
   1. Determine the time of reaching operating pressure of the compressor.
   2. Measure vibration level.
   3. Measure noise level.
   4. Measure power consumption (or consumption current) of electric motor at idling.
   5. Measure oil pressure.
   6. Determine temperature condition.
3. Compressors are treated with XADO revitalizant gel for compressors and bearings in 3 stages without oil change according to the following procedure:
   1. Prepare XADO gel for compressor treatment.
   2. Pour some regular oil (1 –2 l) warmed up to 60 ^oС (140 ^oF) into a separate vessel, dissolve there the rated amount of XADO revitalizant gel for compressors and bearings to be added into the crankcase (1.2 ml for 1 liter of regular oil at a time).
   3. If for the lubrication of cylinder piston group a lubricator is used, then dissolve similarly XADO revitalizant gel for compressors and bearings in another vessel (1.2 ml for 1 liter of lubricator oil) and add it to the oil volume required for ensuring compressor operation during 200 hours. For example, hourly oil consumption through the lubricator is equal 0.225 l, what comes to 45 l during 200 hours of continuous operation. The rated amount of revitalizant gel required for ensuring constant concentration is: 45 l x 1.2 ml = 54 ml. If lubricator is missing, then compressor treatment is carried out with revitalizant gel only, added into the crankcase with regular oil.
   4. Stir thoroughly each compound to obtain homogenous mixture.
   5. Add the first compound into compressor crankcase.
   6. The second compound is added together with the lubricator in slight amounts (before adding each dose the oil should be thoroughly stirred) according to oil consumption (during 200 operation hours).
   7. Switch on the compressor.
4. The second and third treatment stages should be carried out in 8 hours interval of total operation of compressor similar to the first stage.
5. The treatment of compressor is considered to be finished after 400 hours of compressor operation beginning from the first treatment stage.
6. After finishing of the compressor treatment one should make metering of the basic performance specifications indicated in item 2.2.
7. In case of need the results of metering before and after treatment with XADO revitalizant are documented in the form of technical statement.

Note !

Cylinder piston groups, where graphite or flubon (antifriction polymer composite materials) piston rings are used, are not subject to treatment with XADO revitalizants.
For maintaining permanent concentration of XADO revitalizant in regular oil it is necessary during the first 200 hours of operation to compensate for oil consumed by adding oil with XADO revitalizant gel diluted on the basis of 1.2 ml for one liter of additional oil.
