Hot water dye at the simmer.
- Ideal for dyeing small articles e.g. stretchy tops, leggings and underwear.
- Dye used at the simmer.
- Can also be used to dye a variety of decorative items e.g. dried grasses, feathers and buttons.
- One tin will dye 250g of dry weight fabric.
- Suitable for natural fabrics, Nylon and Lycra.
You will also need: 30 g of salt.

- Wash fabric thoroughly and leave damp.
- Fill saucepan with enough hot water to cover article.
- Wearing rubber gloves, dissolve dye in 500ml of boiling water, stir well.
- Add solution to vessel with 3Og salt, stirring well.
- Put in clean, damp article and raise temperature to simmer, then stir constantly for 20 minutes.
- Rinse article until water runs clear. Results are not colourfast, so dyed garments should be turned inside out and washed separately.
