Revitalizant XADO for the engine cylinder-piston group
The revitalizant is designed for restoring repair and wear protection of the whole cylinder-piston group of 2- and 4-stroke gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars and trucks without disassembling them.
During revitalization of the engine a cermet layer, grown on the crystal lattice of the metal surface layer, is formed on the parts` surfaces of the cylinder-piston group.
So, the conventional metal to metal contact is replaced by a practically non-wearing cermet to cermet contact.
XADO revitalizant is compatible with any additives to the oils, no matter in what sequence they are applied.
The protective cermet coating is formed on metal surfaces from any alloys.
However, if the state of the parts of the cylinder-piston group is critical (100% wear-out), the ruptured parts should be replaced.
Major results of the treatment
- increased compression in the cylinder;
- restored geometry of the cylinder, elimination of scores;
- protection of rubbing parts against wear during could start-up;
- reduction of noise and vibration;
- increase in engine power;
- fuel savings;
- reduction of CO and CH emissions.
Main advantages of the treatment
- disassembly and replacement of parts are not required;
- opportunity of selective repair ( reduced compression in one, two etc. cylinders);
- immediate results (during the first 30 minutes the compression in the cylinder increases by 21.34- 28.44 psi (1.5-2.0 kgf/cm2).
Recommendations
Piston rings provide the seal between the piston and the cylinder wall for compression. Rings also prevent oil from invading the combustion chamber. If the loss of engine power is accompanied by an increased consumption of fuel, oil and black exhaust smoke, the most probable cause is low compression from worn piston rings or from damage to the cylinder walls.
Applications: vehicles, bicycles, scooters, outboard motors of boats, gasoline saws, lawn-mowers and other engines with pre- mixed fuel and oil system.
Treatment procedure for the cylinder-piston group of the gasoline engine
1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
2. Unscrew the spark plug from the cylinder, disconnect the central wire of ignition distributor and commutator.
3. For two-stroke engines: set the piston at top dead center (in order to avoid gel ingress into inlet and outlet ports).
4. Squeeze out the tube contents into the cylinder.
Note!!! Squeeze out so that the tube contents get onto the cylinder wall and not on the piston.
5. Provide 15 - 20 piston strokes (by a crank handle, towing, turning of driving-wheel, etc.).
6. Replace the spark plug and engage the starter 3-4 times for 3-4 sec. in 15-20 sec. intervals.
7. For two-stroke engines: dissolve the contents of one more tube in 5-10 ml. of motor oil and pour it into the fuel tank.
8. Connect the central wire, commutator, start up the engine and let it idle for no less than 2 minutes.
9. Run as normal.
For hard-to-reach places use a syringe with a plastic tube attached to the end. In this case the contents of a tube should be dissolved in 5-10 ml of motor oil. Note!!! To avoid hydroblow the total volume of introduced into the cylinder liquid should not exceed 20 ml.
During diagnosis you should pay attention to adjustment and operable condition of valve timing!
